In Case of Emergency Door Stickers

What if you are not home and an emergency happens? Why not be prepared with one of our ICE (In Case of Emergency) Door Decals. This will let first responders know that you have animals inside the house. It is understood that human life always comes first, but as we have witnessed many times over our first responders have put themselves in harm’s way to help many family pets. A huge thank you to them for that!! They are only $ 2.00 each.

Life Meters for Pets

Did you know DARTNS is helping to raise awareness about the dangers of leaving your pets in hot vehicles. That's right. We have our Life Meter for Pets, which is a thermometer that you place on the inside of your window that shows you the inside temperature of your vehicle. They are only $ 6.00 each. Look for us around this summer at various events, or contact us on here and we will get one to you.

Pet Keychain

This keychain will let others know you have cherished pets at home that require care, when you are unable to do so. A "purrfect" addition to our Pet Alert Wallet Card.

Tick Keys

Much of Nova Scotia is considered high risk for Lyme disease. Spring temperatures usher in the start of tick season in Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia has several ticks, but the biggest concern is bites from black-legged ticks, which can carry the bacteria that causes Lyme disease, an infectious disease. Remember to do regular tick checks on yourself and your pets as well. DARTNS is pleased to carry Tick Keys and they are available for only $ 6.00 each. For more information on purchasing your tick key, please e-mail information@dartns.org
